Responsibilities held by the vice-rector

• Study grants, collaboration grants and Sèneca-Sicue mobility grants
• Student associations and promotion of student participation in university community affairs; the UB Observatory on Students and Studies (in conjunction with the Office of the Vice-Rector for Teaching and European Convergence); tutorial action plans (also in conjunction with the Office of the Vice-Rector for Teaching and European Convergence)
• Transition of studies from upper secondary school education to the University
• Admission through the office for university pre-enrolment
• Student services and careers advisory program through the UB Student Support Service
• Language policy: UB Language Services
• Services to the University Community: Community UB Dining Hall, Private student halls of residence (col·legis majors), UB Sports Service and UB School of Modern Languages (coordinated by Dr. Esther Berastegui)
